Our chocolate boxes and gift items are shipped with Royal Mail's Tracked 24 Service or by our next day courier, APC Nextday (Delivered on weekedays only.)
1. IMPORTANT: Please note that the last postal collection for your chocolate gifts, from our factory in Orton village is at 15.15 hrs each week day. We do not have a postal collection on Saturdays. We need to receive your order at least two hours before this time, if the parcel needs to be dispatched that same weekday - otherwise it will be sent in the next available post collection after that. Please note that parcels sent by Royal Mail's Tracked 24 Service are not guaranteed to arrive the next working day, so we would ask that you pay the extra for Special Delivery/Overnight APC Couriers if you require a delivery on a specified date or by that date. In the period from the second week in December until Christmas we may require additional notice from you due to seasonal order volumes. Please note deliveries to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are subject to local delivery services and may also be subject to delays due to Customs.
2. Our UK delivery rates, by Royal Mail's Tracked 24 Service, are as follows:
Delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 ( a very good chance (about 95%) of arriving next day but not guaranteed) or by Courier Service (if over 2kg of parcel weight): £6
For an extra £7 charge on top of the standard delivery price (£13 in total), Royal Mail Special Delivery or our Couriers, APC, will deliver on a specified weekday (Monday to Friday). (Please note that in the peak 2 weeks before Christmas or during inclement weather, these services may be subject to delay which is outwith our control).
3. Overseas Air Mail - We no longer post overseas due to DUTY charges being levied on receipt of the parcel. (Business to Consumer Rules apply). There may not be duty to pay if you, as a consumer, send to a consumer overseas - but best to check with Royal Mail or a Courier Service first.

Our Appledore Chocolate Shop is open Tues to Saturdays 10am to 5pm (and occasionally some Sundays & Mondays) - but please check with us first, if making a special trip.

For an ADDITIONAL charge of £7 onto the standard delivery charge (making a total of £13), Royal Mail Special Delivery or our Couriers, APC, will deliver next day on a specified weekday (Monday to Friday).
