Alfred Wainwright, the famous Lake District Fell Walker, described the village of Orton as “a place of tranquil beauty and unpretentious appeal.” It is a favourite resting point on his famous “ Coast to Coast Walk.

Our Devon outlet opened in September 2009. We are open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm. (January hours: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only from 10am to 4pm.
We are now in our 32nd year of chocolate making!
So come on in and make your own selection box to sample handmade chocolates at their very very best.
Our Appledore Chocolate Shop is open Tues to Saturdays 10am to 5pm (and occasionally some Sundays & Mondays) - but please check with us first, if making a special trip.

Standard Delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Post (or Weekday Courier if the parcel weight is over 2kg): £6 (This includes VAT of 20%).
For an ADDITIONAL charge of £7 onto the standard delivery charge (making a total of £13), Royal Mail Special Delivery or our Couriers, APC, will deliver next day on a specified weekday (Monday to Friday).
Overseas P&P: Airmail Rates. These are calculated at the checkout on weight of goods ordered. We can no longer post to the EU.
