Kennedys Fine Chocolates Coffee House and factory shop is nestled in the picturesque village of Orton in Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District. 

Alfred Wainwright, the famous Lake District Fell Walker, described the village of Orton as “a place of tranquil beauty and unpretentious appeal.” It is a favourite resting point on his famous “Coast to Coast Walk” 

Orton is a lovely village and is well situated for access to the Lake District, Eden Valley, Yorkshire Dales and the Scottish Borders – the perfect place for a north country holiday. 

Visitors to our chocolate factory will find a well-stocked shop with a full display of all our online chocolate products - there are indeed lots of them - more than we can feature on our website, and some too fragile to send through the post! 

The chocolate factory shop also has much more than just chocolates – with jams, chutneys, speciality biscuits, and confectionery. Our large and interesting range of gifts lines, cards, soft toys and prints has an emphasis on a countryside theme - well, you would expect that being where we are situated!
